Highlands and Islands MSPs Peter Peacock, Rhoda Grant and David Stewart visited Caol to hear the fears of local people over flooding. The Labour trio have contacted Highland Council calling for the flood protection measures being planned for Caol to be implemented as a priority. Following the release of a card seeking local views on the issue the MSPs have now received almost 300 responses.
